Terms of service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Mnemory (mnemory.me, its web app, iOS app and API), run by Jakub Bareš, Czech Republic ("we"). By signing in or using the API you agree to them. Contact: privacy@mnemory.me.
The service
Mnemory sends a bot into online meetings to record them, transcribes recordings, files and media links, and writes notes, translations and answers from them. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. It is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it is error-free or always available.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your account and API keys safe; you are responsible for what is done with them. Tell us at once if you think a key has leaked, and revoke it in the app.
Recording other people
Recording laws differ between countries, and many require every participant's consent. You are responsible for telling the people in your meetings that they are recorded and for having the right to record them. Do not send the bot to a meeting you are not allowed to record.
Acceptable use
Do not use Mnemory to break the law, to record people secretly, to infringe others' rights, to upload malware, to overload or probe the service, or to get around its limits. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
Your recordings, transcripts and notes stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy. You can delete them at any time.
Machine-generated output
Transcripts, speaker names, notes, translations and answers are made automatically and can be wrong. Check them before relying on them, especially for legal, medical or financial decisions.
Price
Mnemory is currently free. If we start charging, we will tell you in advance, and nothing is charged without your agreement.
Ending
You can stop using Mnemory and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or stop the service with reasonable notice so you can export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms are governed by Czech law. Disputes go to the courts of the Czech Republic, unless the law of the country you live in as a consumer gives you the right to another court.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date. Important changes are announced in the app or by email.
